Business Solutions Current Account

The Barclays Business Solutions Current Account offers you the security of a bank account with convenient access to your funds at any Barclays Branch or ATM. In addition you will be provided free monthly statements to assist you in tracking your business activities. A cheque book linked to this account offers the convenience of making payments without having to carry cash. Barclays has designed 3 flexible fee packages allowing you to select a package that best suits your business unique needs. Barclays also offers a Foreign Currency Account facility (subject to individual country exchange control regulations) and a Community Account specifically designed for Non-profit organisations and NGO's.

To open a Business Solution Current Account you require:

Company Registration Documents.
Trading License.
No minimum opening.

The Business Solutions Current Account offers:

Flexible statement on customer request.
Convenient ATM access via an ATM Card with a daily limit of MUR 30, 000

Business Solutions Savings Account

Saving is a reality of life, be it for a planned purchase, or security against those unplanned events. Barclays offers a range of saving accounts designed to give you the flexibility to choose the solution that best meets your needs. The Barclays Call Account offers competitive interest with convenient access to your funds at short notice. The Business Solution Savings Account offers competitive interest and convenient access to your funds by being linked to your Business Solutions Current Account. This account is available in local and foreign currency (where applicable). The Business Solution Bonus Savings Account offers bonus interest to a customer if there are no withdrawals from the account for a 3 months period. The Business Solution Fixed Deposit Account is for those customers looking for higher interest rates but who are prepared to commit their funds for a fixed period normally 1 month or more. This account is available in both local and foreign currency (where applicable).

No minimum balance requirements for Business Solution Savings and Call Accounts.
Free monthly statements.
Foreign currency options are offered for Savings and Call Accounts.
Fixed Deposits offered in both Local and Foreign currency.
Fixed Deposit Accounts offered with flexible terms.
A minimum opening balance of MUR 100, 000 is required for Local Currency Fixed Deposit Accounts.

Access to finance to start or grow your business is one of the biggest challenges many business people face. Barclays recognises this challenge and offers both Secured and Unsecured lending solutions with flexible terms and competitive interest rates. On a case-by-case basis we are also able to assist customers with Over-draft facilities for working capital requirements, and Commercial Property and Asset Finance.

You can borrow up to MUR 300, 000 unsecured.
Unsecured loan accounts offer flexible repayment terms of 1 – 5 years.
Secured loan accounts offer flexible repayment terms.
